Comprehensive Care

At Beaver County Nursing Home, we've developed an inter-disciplinary approach to patient care. Working as a team, our care providers develop a comprehensive and fully coordinated plan for each resident.

A staff physician routinely makes rounds providing complete medical services, and is available twenty-four hours, seven days a week on an on-call basis. Hospital care is available just next door through the adjoining breezeway connecting the hospital and nursing home.

Our dedicated medical and support staff work together to provide a network of excellent care. We encourage all our staff to advance their training through on-going educational programs featuring new techniques and medical advances.

Our medical services also include on-site pharmacy and clinical facilities. 

Restorative Services:
Beaver County Nursing Home’s restorative department offers residents carefully planned therapeutic activities which meet our resident's physical, social, and emotional needs through group and individual activities.

Therapy Services:
Beaver County Nursing Home provides a full range of rehabilitation services. Our newly remodeled spa facility is available for post-acute care hospital rehabilitation in addition to on-going restorative services. Using an inter-disciplinary approach, our therapy services are designed to provide residents with the opportunity to achieve and maintain the highest level of day-to-day activity and mobility.

Social Services:
Beaver County Nursing Home’s social services department is available to help both residents and family members adjust to the nursing home environment and offers information and guidance on many long term care issues.

Social Services:
Our Social Services coordinator will create a plan of support for you and your loved one to help them adjust to their new surroundings. We understand the emotional strain of transitioning a family member into long-term care and we offer our support, our expertise and our genuine concern.

Activities:
Our Activity Department prepares a variety of unique activities with various size groups to meet the diverse needs and interest of our residents. Our programs range from large group to individual in-room activities. We encourage family involvement and host numerous special family functions throughout the year.
